MICHAEL GILBERT - DIRECTOR
Dr. Mike Gilbert has a doctorate in Security and Risk Management from Portsmouth University. He is an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) and is a member of the Security Institute. He originally qualified as a CIPFA Accountant and during his career has obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and ITIL Service Management qualifications.
Mike developed his professional career at the National Audit Office, later becoming Head of Internal Audit at the HFEA and then Head of Forensic Accounting at the Legal Services Commission.
Mike has also carried out work for the internal Audit Department and the Counter Fraud Team of the Home Office. He has provided advice to the Cabinet Office on the development of a counter fraud profession within central UK Government.
BRANDON WELSH - DIRECTOR
Brandon Welsh is a Chartered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (CMIIA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Diploma from the City University in Internal Auditing and Management.
He has over 30 years business experience gained in senior roles in Auditing, Fraud, Risk, Consulting and Management. He has worked with many Investigative specialists including The Serious Fraud Office, the Met and regional Police forces and the Post Office Investigations unit.
He has undertaken and managed numerous successful reviews in both the public and private sectors.
